I was pretty excited when Chairish approached me to do a style board based around one of their rugs! I chose this patterned yellow and grey rug as my focal point, and I wanted to show it off in an office with a fun mix of industrial and retro styles with a splash of colour. I like the geometric patterns off set with literal splashes of watercolour and textured paint strokes. Structured lines meets whimsical splashes. I am really new to creating mood boards and style boards. In fact this was my first time using Polyvore (or any kind of style board creation web app) and I have to say I had so much fun and am now in love with it. I can't wait to hone my style board skills (and now possible obsession) and learn more and more about styling and interior decorating!
